I bought this for my husband for Xmas, it never worked correctly. The temp probe fork that came with it does work very well so it wasn't a total loss.

This is exceptional unit for both inside and outside ovens. I maimly use in my 'smoker' and my 'barbeque grill'. Works perfect and allows you to leave oven without worry of over-cooking. Highly recomend. Have fun.

I've used many of these wireless thermometers in my frequent barbecuing. This one is the best. The usual point of failure is the wire running from the probe to the transmitter, but Oregon Scientific sells replacements, and most manufacturers don't. The repetition of the "spoken" reminders was annoying, until I discovered that they would stop if you press the center button. Be prepared to change the temperature settings for various meats, which is easy to do. (They are too high for my taste). So far, results from use have been outstanding.

We absolutly love this. It is by far the best made grill thermometer. Very sturdy and accurate. Has not failed us once. We have tried others that all have broke just after a few uses. We are very pleased with this.

Great product with many food types and settings. Only gave it 4 stars since the two units do not synch up immediately (would of given it 4.7 stars if allowed). It is not difficult for them to snych up, you just need to read the manual.
